Mesh creates a physical barrier flies simply can't get through. In a research, leggings cut stomping by up to 65%*. So your horse can finally stand still, eat in peace, and stop fighting bites all day.
Engineered in two layers. The outer weave breathes freely and blocks bites, the inner layer keeps moisture from ever getting trapped. Cooler, drier legs, even through the hottest turnout days.
No sizing chart, no measuring, no guessing. FlyBlock's Micro-Grip closure adjusts to fit snugly on everything from compact ponies to full-size draft horses. The same boot, on every horse in the barn.
Interlocking at a microscopic fiber level, not basic velcro. Paired with sewn-in plastic stays that hold their shape, FlyBlock stays secure at the walk, the trot, and everywhere in between.
Out in the pasture, back in the barn, or halfway through a ride. FlyBlock keeps working the whole day through.

Love the way these fit our horses!

My 22 year old quarter horse had an issue chipping his hooves in the summer from stomping and pawing at flies. With these boots he hardly stomps and his hooves have had the chance to grow out. He doesnβt mind wearing them and theyβre easy to put on/take off. Definitely recommend to anyone trying to keep their horses more comfortable during fly season.

These actually stay on my mare and they don't sag. The don't fall off. They aren't faded. These beat the more expensive fly boots hands down To people who don't understand fly boots: they aren't meant to fit tight. They will gap at the top. That's the design! Also, horses' legs aren't wider around the taller they are. Your review is unfair.

They are very nice, well made. I put them on the horses legs for the fly control and they are working great. I did spray the boot with. Skin so soft and then a few days later with citronella oil mixture to help repel the flies. They seemed to be working great.

The boots are too big around for my horse. I use them, but they donβt fit snuggly and she can get them off easily.

OK but not very stiff for staying up. Also, the add showed some with 4 velcro wraps an some with the single vertical strip and one wrap around which is what I was sent. That is fine but the ad was a bit misleading. Otherwise, fine for the price.

The boots don't fit too big. I think they would work if they had more velcro in different areas on them so they could be adjusted properly to fit. One boot I think blue has a rip in it because it slid off and she was walking on it.

I had my boot less than a week and their would scrunch down on the hoofs. As requested I sent a dozen pictures. I am entitled to a refund but have just got blown off. You have everything you asked for but just keep stalling. Refund please.

They fall down ending up covering less than half the area. Will not purchase again Pat Ps the money spent was wasted

Honestly one of the best purchases Iβve made this year. Easy to apply without right or left-sided ness to worry about, comfortable to wear with no signs of rubbing (or evidence of my horse trying to remove them with torn velcro as in the past!); easy to remove and rinse and reapply without waiting to dry as they do so quickly - there's no sheep-like fur that could get moldy; and you see Taye can move in them easily. The price is exceptional for the quality. Historically, we replaced fly boots at least annually at a much higher price - and some models twice a season. I seriously have tried every possible model of fly boot I could find looking for the right solution. Look. No. Further.

I like the boots, they are extremely durable. They donβt fall down. They are on 24/7 in the pasture. They seem to stay on well. Its only July and I could get a whole fly season out of the other brand, so I am hoping I can do the same with this brand. The other draw back to me was how long it took to get them. I am still waiting for the 3rd pair. Seems it depends on the color you order as to when they will mail out. Having said that. I do like them very much!!

Bought these at the start of fly season. Have ridden/lunged in them on and off and we are about 3 months in and they are still hanging in there. I love the color! I can pick my gelding out of the pasture now because itβs not the traditional colors lol. They are pretty sturdy, just have a weird fit when you first try them on. Iβd say I would recommend them.

I bought these for my horse to keep the flies off while she was getting over scratches. I was skeptical at first because they are so loose at the top. They worked like dream. In a couple days I noticed a difference and in 1weak my mare is almost completely healed. They are easy to wash and have stayed on. There is little wear at the heel, but I'm really happy with them.

Perfect fly boots. Here in Florida the bugs are out 360 days a year and my girl is ALLERGIC so staying covered and having durable clothes that last awhile is a must. These boots are perfect for our needs. She stomps very little, the velcro stays stuck even if wet or she has been rolling, I don't notice that they trap heat and make her legs particularly sweaty, even in the height of summer she stays comfortable. I hand wash them in the sink with a scrub brush and air dry. I'd say some of my boots are 2 or 3 years old and still work tho a little more beat up and broken in than our newer boots. Helps prevent stomping which means healthier hooves, less stress on legs and joints and soft tissues, and a happy more comfortable pony.

These seem to be doing the trick. One of them did come off in the pasture but I think it was because I had it too loose at the bottom. She is not stomping as much and the Bright Pink is easy to find in the pasture. I don't know about durability yet since we have only been using for 2 days.

They run big. Thankfully my boy has some thick legs and can keep these on. He's about 15.1 and can definitely go a size lower (these are large). They stayed on and up during a storm plus him having roughly an acre and a half of brush to run on so far. Unless the material wears in a bit I can't see these lasting a whole season but I'll try and keep this review updated.

Iβve bought like 4 sets of these fly booties and I absolutely LOVE them. I went to re-order and they had new colors posted and they almost perfectly match their fly masks so that was a huge win! I now use them on other horses at the ranch that I work at. The velcro has held up really well through all kinds of FL weather and no issues with flopping down/not standing up straight. 10/10 all around, and way cheaper than the exact same types of booties youβd find in tack stores.

Fit my 17 hand thoroughbred perfectly. She's a diva so if anything is top tight or uncomfortable she will refuse to move! So far she's been wearing these 24/7 for about 2 weeks and they still work perfectly. Very strong velcro that holds it in place. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the color isn't accurate but still a very pretty color and she seems to not mind.

I've gone through far too many Shoofly brand fly boots. I figured I'd try these- i mean they couldn't be that much worse in longevity, right? I've been pleasantly surprised! They have held up well- still stand completely tall, the stays are holding up well. The other brand would slouch quickly and the stays would either warp or break and become sharp. My horse plays pretty hard, and I often ride with these on, so they've been put through plenty of testing. And the color choices are pretty nice too. I'm definitely a convert now!

These are the best for your horse. I have tried several other brands; these stay up and on!

I own 3 sets of these for my two horses. I love them - even my baby horse keeps his on and they protect their legs in addition to keeping flies off. Itβs been life saving for my navicular horse as she isnβt stomping and loosing her shoes. Also, they are machine washable if they ever get dirty. I wash at least a setβs worth every week (between the two horses) and Iβve owned one of the setβs for over a year now and it doesnβt even look like theyβve been worn for that long (color pattern hasnβt faded through washes, Velcro is still clean and sticky, and the fabric trim is intact without signs of wear). Highly recommend!

As a habitual shoofly buyer I decided to give these a chance because they are cheaper. They are not as sturdy as shoofly and donβt last as long. That being said, my horse who is very sensitive to bugs wears these boots pretty much 24/7 so they were definitely put to the test. Where I can get 4 months out of the shoofly, I can get about 2 months with this brand. Iβm sure for someone that isnβt using them 24/7 they will last pretty long.

These are a great fit for our approximately 14 hand mule. The velcro is impressive. They will not come off!

My horse is a chronic destroyer of fly products. Happy to say this is going on 5 months and still in good shape. I will be purchasing another pair for another horse. Highly recommend.

Quality seems alright, but they didn't even stay on for 10 hrs. All but 1 had slide off his foot and the other one was almost off. I am returning them.

THEY FIT WELL BUT ARE NOT VERY GOOD QUALITY. THEY DO NOT LAST LONG.

These fit my draft cross well, stay up and easy to put on. Stay on well too!

Mine seemed to run too small at the bottom and really overly wide up top. They also do not cover the area just above the hoof.
